At Eaxo, we have transformed a former gas station into an artist-in-residence. Eaxo is located on Crete, Greece, 500 meters from the sea and mountains, 14 km from the city of Chania, and 8 km from Chania Airport. Eaxo is a creative space where artists can immerse themselves in their artistic practices and simultaneously be a part of an inspiring community. Eaxo can host up to 6 professional artists at a time.

We are happy to invite international and local visual artists, performance artists, photographers, musicians, designers, writers, and curators to apply for the residence. At Eaxo, the artist is provided with a workspace and accommodation throughtout their stay. Eaxo has two yearly seasons, from March to June and from September to November.

Eaxo is an independant organization. We are always open to good ideas and new collaborations.
